For me, photography is always about rediscovering. Not so much the capturing of a moment, but an unconscious recognition of something in the world that already exists in me - in fragments of memories of light, structures, forms and undeciphered connections between what I see and what I feel.
It is always the light that provides the initial impulse and, through its special, complex quality, sets in motion a process of recognition that is condensed in the photographic image.
Using digital tools, I try to create pictorial spaces that previously only existed in my imagination. It is a tentative approach, an experimentation with form, color and texture, in the fusion of photography, abstract painting and sculpture.
